Paraguay's Central Bank took control of Ueno Bank after its solvency ratio dropped below the legal minimum. The intervention resulted in the freezing of all assets and liabilities, affecting the savings of approximately 3 million customers and over US$800 million in public funds. Consequently, the bank immediately suspended all of its services.
