SOUTHCOM Commander Visits Peru to Strengthen Security Cooperation

U.S. Marine Corps General Francis L. Donovan, commander of U.S. Southern Command, visited Peru from October 13-15. The visit aimed to advance joint efforts to combat narcoterrorism and hemispheric threat networks while strengthening the U.S.-Peru security partnership. This marked General Donovan’s first visit to Peru as SOUTHCOM commander.
