Protesters Repressed with Tear Gas in El Progreso, Honduras

During a mobilization in El Progreso, Yoro, northern Honduras, on World Food Day, protesters demanding the repeal of the agro-industrial law and an end to evictions were repressed with tear gas by security forces. The demonstrators had gathered for a commemorative mobilization event.
