Illegal Confiscation of US Retirees' Properties in Nicaragua

Nine US retirees in Playa Gavilán, Tola, Rivas, were illegally stripped of their homes valued at approximately 10 million dollars in August 2026. This confiscation by the Ortega-Murillo dictatorship has placed the regime in the sights of the United States Department of State, according to an economist and former political prisoner.
