Frontex investigation finds shortcomings in dealings with Libyan forces

Single-source report, not yet corroborated. Fresh controversy has erupted about the exchange of information during migrant rescue missions between Frontex and Libyan authorities. Earlier this year, Libya's coast guard was found to have rammed a migrant boat in the Mediterranean after being alerted to its presence by a Frontex vessel. Libya has repeatedly been accused of using brute force while intercepting migrants and later taking them back ashore.
