Lebanon: Migration aid lacking despite new EU pledges

The European Commission has pledged to provide Lebanon with more than 500 million additional euros to improve security and border management as well as refugee management. However, following months of conflict especially in the south of the country, the UN says that much more is needed — in particular from some donor countries like Germany.
