Single-source report, not yet corroborated. Ousmane (a pseudonym), a 24-year-old Guinean, spent four days in Libya’s al-Maya detention center. Migrants consider the unofficial prison to be one of the most violent in the country. The young man still has traces on his body of the torture he says was inflicted by guards to obtain a ransom from him.
