The US-based organisation Bishop Accountability released a list in Lima naming 77 members of Peru's Catholic clergy publicly accused of sexually abusing minors. The publication coincides with the upcoming South American tour of the Pope, who lived in Peru for over two decades. Victims and the organization are urging the pontiff to take concrete actions, such as establishing a truth commission.
